Old Settler's Picnic Ferndale, WA July 2017
I set up my booth at different craft fairs & festivals in Whatcom County, Washington. Outside shows, I have only my crafts. Inside shows, I have both my crafts & truffles!
Like my Facebook page to get update on which show I will be at.
Welcome to Laura's Creative Attic! My name is Laura.
I've always enjoyed making crafts to give as presents to my family and friends. They always enjoyed their gifts and told me I should sell my crafts. In August 2010, encouraged by my friend Nancy and with my husband Mike's blessing, I started Laura's Creative Attic.
I make table runners, placemats, hot pads, pot holders, fabric coasters, shopping bags, checkbook covers, credit card wallets, luggage tags, wall hangings, pillows and other crafts. I'm always looking for new items to make!
I specialize in traditional & country fabrics. Most of the fabrics I use are floral or fruits, with some dogs, cats & birds as well.
In July 2014, I got my processor license from the Washington State Department of Agriculture to make truffles & other chocolates. I am so excited to add my love of chocolate with my love of sewing!
I love to cook, sew, read & collect recipes. I've been married to Mike since 1995. We have 1 "child" Gizmo (my very spoiled deerhead chihuahua), and am the proud Aunt & spoiler of 6 nephews, 1 niece and several other children we're Aunt & Uncle to.
I make all my crafts in my smoke free home. I have a small, short hair dog who watches me sew.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me! Also, if you would like to see any item better, we can set up a time to Skype & I can show it to you that way!
